Memorial Service At M E Church Noted By Veterans
Memorial services were held at the M E church on Sunday morning with patriotic music. Dr Kennedy aged 88 the oldest veteran and church member led prayer after the anthem. Rev J W McFall delivered a sermon on Revolutionary Civil and Spanish American wars urging loyalty as veterans in Christian warfare. Comrades Harry Gregory and J P Calvert sang solos.
