The High school chorus performed two numbers, Elizabeth Scruges sang Grow Beautiful Upon the Mountain with Mrs. Harry Huadley, and the male quartet sang I Want My Life to Show for Jesus. Rev. J. E. Junior Senior Reception at Library Halls Festive
Junior class hosted a Friday reception for seniors at the library assembly room. Eli White Dairy Barn Burns Near Mooresville
A large dairy barn at Eli White's White farm three miles southwest of Mooresville burned early Monday after being discovered at 1 a.m. The fire destroyed the barn and its contents, including five horses one cow one bull and one calf, along with hay milking machines a gas engine grain and tools. The loss is estimated up to twenty thousand dollars and partially insured. Mr White operates a dairy with twenty six cows.

Tragic Auto Crash Ends Dickey Anniversary Trip
