Last Friday the two act play produced by the Woman's Club at the library assembly hall drew full attendance. Mrs. Harry Williams led as Mrs. Bings while Aunt Belinda Lucy Jessie and Goldah provided lively plots. Cupid and a policeman added to the scene as John Morrison helped resolve a conflict. Thompson orchestra andDorval Jackson and Katharine Friesner supplied music. Proceeds totaled about thirty dollars.

The town board met Tuesday evening and ordered a survey of High street for paving. C. H. Goss of Martinsville was hired to conduct the survey. A remonstrance against the improvement was presented, signed by numerous East High street property owners.
