Deaconess Hospital Fund Sees Growth In Indiana Efforts

The Deaconess Home notes an ongoing statewide drive supporting a hospital and Deaconess Home in Indianapolis. Funds near 33000 with 6000 raised recently, foundation of Admin Building laid last October, and construction planned this summer. The Friends of the Hospital form a state wide network. The Gen Arthur St Clair Chapter DAR aims to raise 250 for furniture. Indiana Methodists begin hospital site development between 16th 17th streets Capitol and Senate avenues.

Colonial Club Dinner Hosts At Macy Home

The Colonial Club held a six o clock dinner at the home of Mr and Mrs Oliver P Macy Tuesday evening with thirty two guests. The rooms featured flags and carnations and a flashlight photo captured the attendees. Mary Wadley and Misses Helen Scearce Edith Hadley and Edith Thompson played piano.

Madison Township Sunday School Convention at Siloam Church

The 1900 convention at Siloam Church opened May 21 with 10 am Union Sunday School and 11 am address by Rev. Joseph Gilaspy. Afternoon sessions featured devotionals, recitations by Edna Carpenter and Ethe McCollum, papers on youth incentives and teachers’ duties, music by the Siloam and Centenary groups, and committee reports led by Wa. C. Deck and Lithian Dean.

Indianapolis Martinsville Rapid Transit Schedule

The timetable shows departure times for trains from Indianapolis and Martinsville with morning start at 5 30 a m and hourly half hour intervals to 8 30 p m for northbound service from Indianapolis. Mooresville northbound begins 5 30 a m with 2 minute pre hour departures until 6 58 p m then 8 58 and 10 54 p m. Southbound from Mooresville starts 5 40 a m with 6 20 a m first Car and hourly service every hour or 20 minutes after the hour to 7 20 p m then 9 2 and 12 20 p m, with the 7 30 p m Is running to Mooresville only.
