An all day meeting at White Lick drew about 250 attendees. Evangelist Bro Callahan spoke in the morning and afternoon, nine people were baptized after a Sunday afternoon baptism. Mr and Mrs C D McKay and family from Russiaville attended. Regular service followed in the evening.

Philip Bernstein who moved here last November has developed a large junk operation. By week start he bought and shipped 300 tons of old iron plus carloads of paper and other scrap. He plans to ship three large steam boilers and an old saw mill, bought for junk, and employs several men and teams to collect and sort scrap as his wagons scour the countryside.
The town board met in regular session Tuesday to consider changing the skating rink ordinance to allow a one month license instead of six months but no action was taken. Dr. W L Thompson and Dr. C L Hallam were re elected to the library board for another year.
