The Brown Township Farm Bureau will meet next Tuesday night at eight o'clock in the Public Library. All members are urged to attend this meeting. R. W. Gregory, Secretary.
Mrs Overman of Indianapolis will deliver a lecture next Tuesday evening at the library. The subject is Bible Women the Dramatic and Human Side of Their Lives. The talk is under the auspices of the Art Club and admission is 10 cents at the door with proceeds to help decorate the library interior.
Marriage licenses issued in Morgan County include Joseph F. Dorsett with Violet Pearl Whipple and Floyd W. Wentworth with Bessie Hartwell in Indianapolis. Herbert Newton O Neal wed Elsie Frances Cook in Martinsville. Verna Weidner returned from school work in Winchester and visited Stilesville with sister Mrs Carl Keller. they hosted Mr and Mrs W G Weidner for a Sunday visit.

Music pupils under Mrs. B T Jones who studied through the winter term will present a recital at Mrs. Jones home at 2 o clock Saturday afternoon May 20. Plans for forming a junior music club will be announced and those planning to study in the summer term are invited to attend.
The Parent Teachers meeting is set for next Wednesday evening May 17 at 7 30 in the high school assembly room. The discussion will focus on Moral Education in the Home and School.
Mr and Mrs Frank Jones who spent the winter in Greencastle arrived at their summer home last week. Mr Jones attends to daily schoolwork this month. On Sunday their parents Mr and Mrs Thun Carter and B F Jones were dinner guests to honor the Jones birthdays.
A Friday banquet at the Christian church drew a large group of men. Prof O Bannon acted as toastmaster and responses were given by Mr Storms Mr Roberts and Mr Cuan. Plans were discussed to organize a women’s brotherhood soon.

Dr. J. F. Benham aged 55 a prominent local physician died Friday morning from heart valve leakage after a week of illness. Survived by his wife and two sons Thomas W of New Orleans and Harvey a Purdue student. Specialist from Indianapolis consulted with Dr. W. L. Thompson. Funeral at the residence Sunday at 2 PM. friends invited.
Sunday evening a car carrying Ben Sims his wife and baby plus Mrs Frank Sims and two daughters veered off the road north of Mooresville. Mrs Hensley suffered multiple injuries to her right wrist and fingers while Mrs Sims and one daughter were slightly hurt. Other passengers had minor bruises. They were treated at Mooresville and later returned home. Also visiting are Rev Price Roberts family and Mrs Alfred Baker of Gosport, Ind. Laundry work offered at 156 West Clorrison Street by Stella Moore.
Miss Edith Barr joined the Hendricks County leaders at Purdue for the boys and girls clubs round up in Lafayette. Mr and Mrs J R Sellars invited friends to Richmond to see Agnes Sellars and Ruth Farmer at Earlham College. The revival led by Billy Sunday drew an estimated 11 000 in Charleston Virginia delegation presence.
Nannie C. Dill sues Howard H. Dill for divorce alleging cruel treatment. Married 1894, separated 1908, remarried 1908, last separation May 1. They have four children total, with one eleven year old at stake for custody. Plaintiff seeks custody, ten dollars weekly support, and five thousand alimony. Also Weryle Cyirke Mangenheimer versus Albert Clair Mangenheimer for divorce.
Quarterly meeting at the Friends church on Saturday with lunch on the beautiful campus. Clarence Pickett will address the Young Peoples Department. Local notices include transport to Rockville for a sanitarium visit, ambulance contacts, and social gatherings. A two week sale features dresses and lingerie. several local shops advertise wares. Funeral services for W. S. Haltom held at his daughter’s home with multiple relatives attending. School notes cover last Teachers Association meeting, baseball losses to Martinsville, upcoming games, senior events, and commencement speaker Ralph Parlette.
Special Mother’s Day program Sunday at 11 00 A M with music and recitations. Sunday night at 7 30 the pastor preaches a sermon on Mother with special music. Everyone invited to attend all services Edward J Cain pastor.
The Epworth Leaguers met on church steps for guidance from leader Kenneth Comer. They followed a chain to Hodges, Jones, Gregory, Scott, and Dr. Comer then reached woods behind a house where a large bonfire hosted games and a camp supper of weiners and marshmallows.

Mooresville Vocational Agriculture students led by John Taylor Russell Hadley and Delbert Hobson won the livestock judging contest at Purdue University as part of the Annual Boys and Girls Club Round up. Team scored 1480 of 1800 with Hadley as high scorer. They received a $50 silver loving cup from Kingan and Company.
Morning and evening audiences encouraged the minister as Junior choir impressed last Sunday. Epworth League held a marshmallow roast. 32 attended. Next Sunday features Chass, Sunday School, Mother's Day service, and special music. Rev Jesse Boyne will lecture on Methodism in home and abroad at 7:30.
Sunday school starts at 10. Worship at 11. Christian Endeavor at 6 30. Prayer meeting Thursday at 7 30. Pastor J BE Hartsuck leads services.
