The alumni association will meet at the school building Tuesday evening March 21 at 7 o clock. All members are requested to be present by order of the committee.
A prominent official says the India na Brass and Iron Bed Co. needs more hands. One hundred additional workers would be hired, enabling plant expansion and the manufacture of a much larger amount of goods than currently produced.
Frank Davis of Indianapolis, agent for Baldwin Piano Company, delivered a fine Baldwin upright piano the first of last week to W. H. Henderson. The instrument is one of Baldwin's finest and the Henderson family is well pleased with it.
G A I Weller held a two day event Friday and Saturday drawing large crowds. About three hundred buggy whips were given to farmers and four hundred red carnations to as many ladies with a pot scraper for each, plus a floor paint demonstration by Chi Namel company. Mr Weller reported substantial sales over the weekend.
The Mooresville Town Board passes an ordinance naming the Marshal as enforcing town by laws and state law, sets duties for the Street Commissioner, trash control, ditches, and street work supervision, with reports to trustees and treasurer. Adopted March 7, 1911. other notices include property sales and local social notices.
A dozen hens and pullets are offered by Otto Rooker, including some purebred Wyandottes, for prospective buyers seeking quality poultry.
The M. E. church ladies gathered last Thursday with Mrs A H Richardson for the first business meeting of the year. Plans were made for reseating the church and repairs and refurnishing. Commencement speaker Wm H Bruce will address March 24 at the M E Church on The Heritage of the American Youth with Derser's Orchestra.
