Town Board Discusses Street Oiling and Annexation Plans

The town board met to receive petitions for oiling High street from the west corporate line to Main street and from west to east corporate lines. An ordinance for annexing lots along the north corporate line east of Indiana Street is to be prepared. The grade on east Main Street will be set in front of a new block planned by Jacob Mian.

Ladies Aid Society Holds All Day Meeting at Friends Church

The Ladies Aid Society met for an all day session at the Friends church on Wednesday with about forty attendees and two meals served. Mrs. John Smith donated a wool comfort for sale, and new officers were elected: Pres Mrs. Alice Burk, Vice Mrs. Dora Sheets, Secy Mrs. Fila Taylor, Asst Secy Mrs. Laura Morgan, Treas Mrs. Heath. Committees to be formed later.

Bonham entertained many of her little friends at a Saturday birthday party. Games were played indoors due to weather. Pink decorations and ten lit candles enhanced the scene.
