1872 Brown township voters recalled in old poll book
The Times notes an 1872 Brown township fall election poll book showing 341 voters, 40 still living across the United States, with several near Mooresville. Eleven men were elected road supervisors, each responsible for a road, and BE. F. Trogdon is the only one of them living in the county. The scribe later knew many voters from that year.

Milhon Sells East Main Street Restaurant to Wilson and Rariden
Br J Milhon sold the restaurant on east Main street to Charles Wilson and Claude Rariden who will continue the business. Milhon plans to dispose of his moving picture theatre at P Brooklyn and tour the south with a special film by automobile. Mrs Milhen and their young son will travel by train to Florida to join him.

Soldier John Hendricks Zook Killed in Action
A Marine Corps letter reports Corp John Hendricks Zook of Mooresville Indiana killed October 8 during a machine gun position assault at Blanc Mont Ridge. His bravery and strong character are praised, with a note that the medal status remains unclear and his grave is at Blanc Mont Ridge. Sailor's long letter from 1915 from Philadelphia to Mother

The Womans Club of Mooresville presents a two night event July 29 30 featuring Elmer Marshall a Lyceum entertainer coaching forty town ladies in comedy singing and drama plus a Marshall and Marshall comedy.
