Death of J. F. Stier at 64 in Haviland Kansas
J F Stier aged 64 of Haviland Kansas died Monday afternoon after a long illness at the home of his brother in law Sam Harper west of town. He resided near here until about twenty years ago when he moved to Haviland. Mrs. Siler accompanied him. The body was taken to Haviland where funeral services were held and interment made.

Death of Dorman Morgan at 70 in Brooklyn
Dorman Morgan aged 70 died Monday at his Brooklyn home after a stroke. He leaves a widow and two children Mrs. Chas Bennett of Indianapolis and Earl Morgan of Waverly. Funeral services were at Brooklyn Methodist church, interment at IL O F cemetery in Waverly, conducted by F. E. Carlisle. Attending included Mr. and Mrs. J A Shuffleburger plus others from the area.
