Ice Cream Festival Aids Mt Olive Church Building

O H Schopmeyer Promoted To City Arithmetic Supervisor
The Mooresville high school principal O H Schopmeyer has been elected supervisor of arithmetic in Van Wert Ohio city schools. He will supervise teaching, conduct two surveys of arithmetic across the city, and prepare material for his master's thesis. He plans to finish his bachelor’s degree in August and move to Van Wert in September to begin a year of service.

Mt Olive church near Landersdale suffered heavy damage during a late Wednesday storm. Lightning is believed to have struck the roof starting a fire that was extinguished by rain. brick walls remained standing and the congregation plans to rebuild.
