Bay View Club members hosted a New Year’s Eve dinner at Mr and Mrs Jesse Wilson home with husbands as guests. A playful skit titled Clubbing a husband entertained while music and other amusements accompanied the New Year arrival.
The firm of Alexander & Weidner doing business as Farmers' Supply Co dissolved the partnership at the start of the year. Mr Weidner buys Alya Alexander's interest and continues the business of reliable goods as before.
The Woman's Club Tie Literature and Music department hosted a Sunday afternoon event with a wood attendance and a fine program. Mr Wil Jessup led Realistic and Humanistic Novelists discussion while Mrs Monica presented Histories Novelists and Mrs Harry Nelson spoke on Women Composers. Wilson played a piano solo by Theodora Duittan and Chaminade pieces were performed by Mrs Nelson, Mrs Bert Jones, and Mrs Jones.
Gladys Gregory and Paul Irael wed December 24 at 6 oclock in the home of Mr and Mrs Cordon Gregory with Rev J Will Payne officiating. Gladys graduates of Mooresville High and Purdue University taught domestic science, while Paul Irael, Purdue agricultural graduate, served as superintendent in Kansas. They plan to reside on a Shelby County farm. Friends send congratulations.
Centerton pair Creat Plobinson with Mary Etta Mc Caroenack listed as from Centerton. Thereso Durnall of Indianapolis weds Minnie H. Strickhan of Morgan County. Cline El Leslie wed Beulah F. Melten. Teth of Morgantown appears in the record.

In Mooresville, M H S beat Technical High School of Indianapolis 28 to 4. The game featured Claude Clark and Clifford Clark on defense and Macy with flashy floor work as M H S led 15 16 at half and pulled away late to 28 4.

Calvin Bray, of Monrovia, died of asthma early Tuesday. funeral in West Union Wednesday. Mrs. John H. Rusie moved to Mooresville Sanitarium for care. Mr. Rusie travels to Indianapolis to stay with sons. Garnet Jackson, Esther Latta, and Norris Jessup hosted Friday dinner with Roy Kenworthy and guests, including Mrs. Marie Closer and Effie Olson.

Thieves removed hitchracks from south Indiana Street in front of T. H. Britton's store and the First National Bank about 11 o'clock Saturday night. The next Monday the east side racks were pulled up and left in a gutter. Town board denies authorization, votes to replace racks, sparking farmer anger and calls for restitution.
The Mooresville library board elected H. C. Scearce as president and others to offices. Tax rates are 1e per hundred in Mooresville and 3c in Brown township. Assessed values total 1,308,520 and 2,408,360 respectively. New funding yields 31,376.76 for next year, 125 less than last year. The library holds 3,285 volumes with 137 on hand, 31, department. December 31 new cards issued. Average daily circulation last month was 54, highest under librarian Mrs. Talley.
