Meeting Set to Locate Canning Factory in Mooresville

Repeated cancellations aside, a public meeting is planned at the Library Monday night to discuss placing a large canning plant at the former Indiana Iron and Brass Bed Factory site. Edwin A. Hunt of Indianapolis says the project would employ many workers and handle hundreds of acres of peas corn and tomatoes with an estimated gross annual business around 200 000. Residents and local businesses are urged to attend and hear the proposal.
