Rev Thomas C Brown to assist at St Marys Ohio dedication while Prof W C Pidgeon will lead services at the Friends church. Day's grocery promotes fresh stock and Phone 118 for groceries.

Quiet wedding at Rose Park home unites Ida Park and Robert Smith

Miss Ida Park and Robert Smith were married last Thursday at the home of Airs. Rose Park with Rev. Thomas C. Brown officiating. Only immediate family attended, including Ida Park's brother Samuel Park of Wauseon Ohio. Mr. Smith is superintendent of the French Lick schools. Mrs. Smith stayed with her mother. The couple has many local friends hoping for happiness.

Local families head south for visit and permanent move

Mr and Mrs John Smith Mrs Wim Sumner and daughter Fannie Mrs Solomon Hobson and HK Ky Smitherman all from this place and Mr and Mrs Sink and three children of Indianapolis left Monday for N Carolina. Mr Sink and family will make it their permanent home while others visit. C Schurmann fell ill last Friday with appendicitis symptoms. An operation was done at the patient’s home Saturday by Drs Thompson and Magenheimer. It was found the issue was in the stomach and serious. Since then Schurmann has been very ill and in low condition.
