Methodist Church December Schedule and Local Notices

Cemetery Expansion Plan In Ware Two Acres Purchased

At the Tuesday meeting the Ware town board approved buying two acres adjoining the cemetery from the Mendenhall estate for 306 dollars per acre. The land will be laid out for burial lots and a driveway will be added from the north.

Henderson sells Jackson and Hadley farms in local deal

Real estate agent W. H. Henderson sold the 210 acre Jackson farm near town on the Waverly road to Benjamin Anderson of Plainfield. He also sold the Wallace Hadley place north of town, once owned by Dr C. C. Everts, to Howard Henderson of Amherst Virginia. Possession of both properties is set for January 1.
