Clifon J. Furness, pianist, presented a recital focusing on the development of the sonata from three hundred years of harpsichord music. He coped with highly difficult pieces, while Miss Dorval Jackson contributed a Haydn selection and both Mrs. Furness and the Andrews sisters from Northwestern University attended as honor guests. The August 17 program will feature Brahms.
