Former Wells County Woman's Killer Ends Life in Prison
John W. Beam, the black attorney who shot and killed Mrs. Maude Diltz in Lima, Ohio, earlier this year, died by hanging in his Ohio State Penitentiary cell in Columbus Saturday morning. Beam allegedly became infatuated with Diltz and killed her before his suicide.
