Court Denies Petition For Special Prosecutor In Benton County Case
Judge Bo B Berry of Fowler rejected a petition by about 100 people led by Rev William Brandon seeking a special prosecutor to assist the land jury in county investigations. He cited expense, estimating 7000 dollars plus, and confidence in Prosecutor Nolin as grounds. He also denied a request to hire a stenographer to record testimony before the jury.
