Mrs Turner Injured In Delphi Road Buggy Crash
Mrs William Turner of two miles east of Patton was seriously injured when her buggy was struck by a Flora driven auto driven by Faye Rausbarger. The crash occurred south of the Lew Goslee home on the Delphi road and was reportedly unavoidable. Mrs Turner suffered chest injuries and possible internal damage but is not believed to be fatally injured. The damaged auto was towed to the Main Garage in town.

The Herald reports White County is charged with two slackers Russell B. Clapper of Monticello and Roy Clayton Kelsey of Brookston who registered locally but are not current residents. Clapper, son of Lillie Clapper, reportedly worked in Washington as a Civil Service employee and claimed conscientious objector status on registration.
