The Pins family gathered at Monticello park on Sunday September 15 for a reunion honoring the late William Pins. Attendees included numerous Seibold Pins Rourke Harms McElmeel White Feltes and Becker relatives from several Iowa towns.
Center Junction Iowa reports the 54 Garden club gathered at Mrs. Ray Naylor’s Scotch Grove home. A book review Weeds Are More Fun by Mrs. John Moehl was shared followed by a tour of the Naylor flower garden and refreshments.
Gerald Castonguay was re-elected president of the Sacred Heart Home School Association. New officers include vice-president Mrs. Robert Dolan and secretary Mrs. Tim Murphy, with re-elected treasurer C. L. Norlin. Dolan follows Mrs. Andy Strittmatter and Murphy follows Mrs. Si Locher.
Three Anamosa attorneys have been named to State Bar standing committees for the current fiscal year. Judge J. E. Heiserman joins the uniform court instructions panel, Glen J. McLaughlin serves on public relations, and County Attorney Howard M. Remley sits on the taxation committee.
