Monti High students purchase activity tickets at 3.00 each saving about four dollars. The ticket covers football and basketball games lyceum numbers class plays and the operetta. Sophomores lead with 24 tickets. other grades follow: eighth 14 ninth 1 tenth 0 eleventh 1 twelfth 13. Sales are expected to reach 1005 soon.
The Red Peppers held their annual election of officers on the first Thursday of school. New officers elected were Phyllis Cox president Marilyn Landis vice president and Loren Hayes secretary treasurer. Marilyn Landis LaVonne Fluckiger and Betty Vernon were selected as the old cheerleaders with Phyllis Cox named senior leader and Joyce Rink Rose Marie and Jimmy Vernon as junior yell team. Educational Tests are finally over with relief spreading through freshmen to seniors after two tough days.
