Madilyn Wieneke Weds Dr James Intekofer at St Martin's Cascade
The wedding took place at St Martin's Church Cascade on September 14 with Msgr M J Kelly officiating. Bride Madilyn Wieneke daughter of Frank Wieneke Cascade and groom Dr James Intekofer Monticello son of Mr and Mrs Fred Intlekofer Waukon were joined in holy matrimony. Attendants included Dorothy Wieneke as bridesmaid and Francis L Intlekofer as best man. Reception for 200 guests followed breakfast for 65 at the bride's home with decor of green and white. The couple plans a home in Monticello where Dr Intekofer has a dental practice.

Pinochle Winners Gather at Schulriders Party
The annual winner loser's party of the pinochle club was held Friday at the home of Mrs. Hade Schneider. One o'clock luncheon featured winners including Mrs. Russell Meade Mrs. M J Jones and others. Prizes for baby dating the sherasan were won by Mrs. Schneider Mrs. Hanken and Mrs Cass.
