Express office mixups and long running Monticello tradition
A Monticello Express column recalls confusion between local Express offices and Railway Express, noting the 90 year history of the Monticello newspaper. It traces early editorial goals, community farming coverage, and the paper’s commitment to local business and readers. It also recounts a roadside incident during the Jones County Beef Producers tour and a pipe mixup anecdote.
