Jones County Court Clears Docket With New Cases
In the past week Jones County district court filed four judgment suits, a divorce suit, and a criminal action. Also 16 cases were heard. Monte D. Kelly faced illegal transport of liquor charges and posted bond. Kray filed a $1,548.60 judgment against the Wrights for grading and bulldozing. Yeo man & Co. sued for $845.89. Ina Jean Schoon seeks divorce and custody. Banks and merchants filed promissory-note and goods-sold actions. Seven criminal actions were heard, including OMVI and reckless driving cases. Kray v. Sueppel produced license reinstatement and a ruling on financial responsibility, and various sentences and orders followed. An investigation and other court actions were noted for future hearings.

Construction to start within two weeks. culvert purchases also approved from Midwest Culvert Co Clinton Culvert Co and Eaton Metal Products Corp. The board also accepted the third quarterly report of Justice of the Peace M E McCrabb.
