Five Iowa colleges near Monticello will host selective service college qualification tests for the 1955 56 school year on November 17 and April 19 1956. Students with January ending years should test November 17 to have scores on file for deferment decisions. Monticello and Anamosa League Members Meet

The Monticello League of Women Voters met in Anamosa on Tuesday afternoon October 11 with host Myrtle Rawson of Anamosa and president Mrs Charles Ellett presiding. Program chair C Smith of Wyoming outlined Jones county educational conferences with help from several members. Hostesses included Bess Sherman Blanche Corwin and Earl Rummell. Next meeting at Mrs W B Clark home with topic Reapportionment by Mrs Ralph Bone. Monticello attendees included Harold Wilcox W B Clark H E Morrow A K Jones and guest Mrs Paul Petersen.
