First Hybrid Seed Corn Shelled At Hopkinton Friday
Clyde Thompson, local grower, delivered shelled hybrid seed corn to Reid's Hybrid grading plant at Onslow last Saturday. It was the first coin received this year and was of fine quality. One hundred mothers and daughters attended a Priscilla Guild banquet at the Community hall Friday evening October 4, with Mrs. E A Dunlap as toastmistress and a program including tributes to mothers and daughters and musical interludes.

Mrs Elsie Bohler returns to Denver after visiting the William Bohler home in Dexeter Junc. Mr and Mrs Roy Bohler escorted her to Cedar Rapids and Mechanicsville. Guests at a Mechanicsville celebration included Mr and Mrs Cliff McDonald and Mrs J A McDonald and Mrs Belle Dodson.
