Five locals injured in two-vehicle crash near Anamosa
Three Monticello residents were hurt when their southbound car and a northbound vehicle collided head on in a detour on highway 151 north of Anamosa. Roland Soper and his wife were hospitalized with fractures and contusions, Louis Jamieson suffered facial injuries, while Dr. Watson aided victims and saved Mrs. Soper. A second crash at 4 45 p m injured two more Monticello residents.
