Woman's Guild Met in Center Junction Busy Meeting
Center Junction Presbyterian Women met September 25 at Mrs. Harvey Manuel's home. Mrs. Arlo Brady presided at the business session led by Mrs. Rex Brady and Mrs. W. Clark. Refreshments were served by the hostess and others. Various local residents visited, attended funerals, or traveled to nearby towns, with a note on insurance applications and idle not club activities.

Castle Grove Delmar King represents this section on the Monticello rural fire department board of directors recently elected. The Ladies Fellowship society of Peniel Chapel will meet with Mrs. Clarence Eberhart on Thursday afternoon, October 9. Andrew Monk left Saturday on a trip to South Dakota with Gerhard Mardorf of Amber. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hahn, Miss Anna Husman and Lawrence Hahn attended Fred Hahn's funeral in Earlville last Thursday. They were joined by Mrs. Clifford Kidwell and daughter Karen of Monticello, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Hosford and sons Larry and Stanley, and Mrs. Bonnie Gearhart in the Kenneth Hosford home in Rowley. Henry J. Caspers visited near Coggan on Sunday after selling his farm there.
