Oak Drive Community club members and families held their annual progressive pinochle and gingham party at the V P W rooms in Monticello on Friday night November 9 with awards for high and low cards and door prizes. Music by Mrs Noel Ostrander and Floyd Rogers accompanied the games, Sherrill Burns won the guessing box, and a monthly club meeting the next day drew 15 members with plans for next year. Laura Lange shared her ninth birthday with relatives including Violet Huffmann as Nov 4 family dinner guests in Maquoketa.
