On Sunday Oct 28 Mr and Mrs Galen Brainard hosted the Cass 500 Club. High prizes went to Mrs Carl Poppe and Gene Anderson, low scores to Mrs Roy Folkerts and Louis Zimmerman, and Mrs Geo Brown won the kernel jar traveling prize. The group drew names for a Christmas party and November hosts were Mr and Mrs Harold Eden. County officers Mrs Ann Mayberry and Mrs Louis Zimmerman spoke at Farm Bureau Women’s Contact Day alongside several other Cass Homemakers. Tea was served by county officers and Mrs Mayberry poured. William Lubben remains a patient at the hospital.
