Golden Wedding of Judge Ellison and Wife in Anamosa
The fiftieth wedding anniversary of Judge F. C. Ellison and Mrs. Ellison was celebrated at their Anamosa home with children and many grandchildren present. Born in New York City in 1853, Ellison built a long public career in Iowa from Canton to Wyoming, then Jones County, serving as attorney, representative, senator, and finally judge of the 18th district.
