A southbound freight on the Ohio River railroad derailed at Walker's twelve miles south at eight in the morning and fell forty five feet. Fire spread from burning oil cars to five oil cars a caboose and two cars of general merchandise. Two men were killed one burned beyond recognition another fatally injured. Conductor George Ernst severely hurt.
