Scotch Grove Farm Bureau Meeting Highlights Immigration Debate
The Scotch Grove farm bureau met on Tuesday evening with unusually small attendance due to long workdays and short nights. Miss Maurice argued for five year immigration limits while Sutherland opposed, linking foreign workers to mines and factories. The meeting covered tuberculosis on the farm, Red Cross nursing efforts, county fair booths, and upcoming activities including a June program by the Scotch Grove Girls Club.
