Lovell State Bank Plans Expansion After Alley Revacation
The Lovell State Bank proposes to enlarge its building by extending over a vacated alley between the Lovell Bank and Sghaon building. The city vacated the south end of the alley to allow access to the rear of abutting properties, with Lovell to pave and integrate the new space into the street system. The bank’s assets have grown from roughly 616,549.99 in 1902 to 1,579,781.90 in 1925, with deposits rising to about 1.259 million, supporting the need for additional vaults, private rooms, and customer facilities as plans continue.
