The Milners were honored with a surprise fifth wedding anniversary gathering last Thursday despite bad roads. A bureau and center table from Belle Plaine were presented, with a lavish repast prepared by friends. E A Hoffman plans a westward trip to Storm Lake while relatives visit Iowa Falls.
East Cascade school under C M Doxsege and Miss Helen Essen closed last Friday after a five month term. Cascade celebrates a theater and a stock company planning a 2000 skating rink city hall, lots secured, building 48 by 110 feet with 18 foot posts. High water damaged a railroad bridge at Fillmore delaying the Narrow Gauge to Cascade until Monday. Two Orphans.
Rev. J. E. Sentman of St. Paris Champaign Co Ohio reports timely possession of ATHLOPHOROS bottles allowed him to aid neighbors. He says the remedy relieved a bedridden rheumatism patient within twenty four hours with no recurrence and notes many inquiries for the remedy.
