Obituary for Mrs Lawrence O Rourke of Castle Grove Township
Mrs Lawrence O Rourke died March 7 at her Weather home in Castle Grove Township. Funeral services were held March 7 at Church of the Dimmeredare conducted by Father Kennessey. She was born May 20 1844 in Rimeslon Ontario and moved with her family to Rockford Illinois before marrying Lawrence O Rourke in 1805. The couple had eleven children including Margaret Hardy James Charles Katie Tuttema John Ally Louis Will and Marie O Rourke and Fannie Tallman. She was a longtime pioneer and faithful Cathole church member.
