Twenty high school band members joined the Minneapolis Symphony Orchestra directed by Dimitri Mitropoulos at the Coliseum in Cedar Rapids on Tuesday afternoon March 8. Selections included The Barber of Seville Scherzo Andante Cantabile The Sorcerer's Apprentice Knowantschina and Tales from the Vienna Woods. On Friday March 13 the flute quartet will perform at the Presbyterian Church for the Father and Son banquet. The quartet consists of Mary Lou Luett Alice Clark Eloise Wright and Dick Skelley.
