A call rises for Milton Remely former attorney general of Towa to accept the district judge nomination in the Johnson Iowa district. The Senate backs the women's suffrage bill though many expect the House to oppose it.
Representative Carter of Sioux City introduces a bill for a flat two cent mile rate on all Iowa railroads. Opponents argue such a low fare would harm passenger comfort, as most travelers would demand better service, while freight rates readjustments offer a more sensible path to satisfactory outcomes.
The House elections committee is expected to report the Crossley compulsory primary bill.
