The junior girls defeated the senior squad 7 to 2 in eight minutes at the high school court during halftime of the varsity game last Tuesday. At the half the score was 4 to 2. Seniors listed include Anne Shelley, Shirley Shelley, Catherine Davis, Sally Otten, Dot Read, Ramona Hoffman, Iona Harms, Roxie Yeoman, Wilma Sanford, and Phyllis Appleby. Juniors were Betty Rae Morning, Clarice Siebels, Claire Shannon, Irma Schoon, Betty Eggers, Irma Jean Pickett, Colleen Maire, and Beverly Harms.
The Votational Agriculture boys test seed oats for local farmers using a rag doll germination method until the germinator arrives. They also offer garden seeds for sale and held a monthly meeting at the high school with Mr. Eells as the guest speaker.
