The Paulsens raise beef cattle hogs chickens and grow corn oats and hay. Lou Paulsen, 22, plans to teach mathematics and coach at Fonda Iowa starting 1956-57. he will graduate from Iowa State Teachers College in August.

Ted Clymer Anamosa director of Exploring Hawkeye Boy Scout area council attended with Poock as a companion. The event drew many midwest Scouts and included discussions on citizenship speeches sports activities and meetings led by a Kansas City mayor who spoke Monday afternoon.
