County Supervisors Set Proceedings and Budget Reforms
The Janes County Board of Supervisors met at the Court House with members including EL Steward, J Suther land, and J Tasker. They approved minutes, assigned publication costs to petitioners, and discussed road and bridge issues with amendments proposed by Abr Yeran. The board recessed and later adopted a payroll and pauper relief plan proposing $6000 monthly for Metcalf and $800 monthly for Joy Chase, with officials authorized to draw the funds.
