Ben Wheeler Dies After Operation in Indianapolis
Ben F. Wheeler 60, former Hopkinton resident, died June 1 in an Indianapolis hospital after an operation. He lived in Manchester before moving to Indianapolis in 1927 to work for International Harvester. Survived by wife Jessie Hugh and two daughters, six grandchildren, two sisters, one brother, and other relatives. Burial in Oakland Cemetery, Manchester. Local funeral services held at Shelley funeral home with Rev. John G. Snapp officiating.
