Ross Fined $100 For Two Accidents Near Anamosa
Ross F Ross, 65, of Cedar Rapids, was fined $50 and costs on two counts for leaving the scene of accidents near Anamosa Saturday night. He sideswiped Henrietta Ingwersen in one incident and struck a parked Hinrichsen car in Anamosa. Damages were $350 to Ingwersen’s car and $25 to Hinrichsen’s car. Ross faced about $500 total damages.

Four Youths Injured in One-Car Crash Near Monticello
A Sunday afternoon crash two and a half miles northeast of Monticello left four youths injured. Driver Larry Broneman, 19, of Monticello, and Mary Ann Rogers, 15, Cascade, sustained minor bruises. Passengers Leo Klosterman, 22, Cascade, suffered a fractured left leg, Steve McElmeel, 19, Monticello, a forehead laceration. The 1985 Dodge Broneman drove was a total loss and Broneman faced charges for failing to keep the vehicle under control.

Three Injured In Cascade Highway 151 Collision
At 5:15 p.m. Sunday three people were injured at the west edge of Cascade on highway 151. Ed Wenger, 67, of Monticello suffered a facial laceration nearly severing his nose. Sheldon Moats, 47, of Monticello had a head laceration and chest pains. John Bolling, 70, of Cascade had chest pains. Both 1954 Ford pickups involved were near total losses.
