Jones County Farm Bureau hosts a series of four sessions with C H Van Vinck agricultural engineer from Town State college. The meetings focus on farm home and farm wiring topics and will occur Thursday July 22 at the Eris Memorial building Cascade and 3:00 at the opera house Wyoming. Friday July 23 at 2:15 in the court house Anamosa and 8:00 at Olin high school Olin.

Raymond Sorensen 4-H club agent announces two Saturday meetings for draft colt project boys. National Dairy Association Honors Eleven Jones County Dairymen

The Federal Reserve Commission study shows milk as a durable income source through 1982 and 1934, with farmers earning 54 percent of 1929 milk income in 1982 while tobacco, cotton, and wheat trailed. By 1934 milk reached 64 percent of 1929 levels as income recovered, outpacing livestock and wheat.
