On July 1 1924 the finance committee and city clerk were authorized to borrow 500 dollars from Monticello State Bank for the water fund with 6 percent interest. The note is due within 30 days. The council then adjourned to meet July 15 at 8 p m Maurice mayor and Ray Echternacht city clerk.
