Multiple Vehicle Accidents Reported Around Jones County
The Jones County Sheriff's Dept. logged several crashes. Connie Petersen was cited after a 10:40 p.m. single vehicle crash on Highway 64 near Anamosa, damaging her 1970 Ford. Earlier, Magda Hartwig and Doris Loehr collided on Jungle Town Road, causing $800 and $50 damages respectively. Roger Saunders in Monticello suffered a diabetic episode driving a Mercury, with minor injuries. Bob Brehm resigns from Evers Royal Blue to teach at the Iowa Men's Reformatory, effective Aug 1.
