The funeral of Mrs J B Hayes ex President Hayes wife drew about 6000 people at Oakwood Cemetery in Fremont on Friday. Services at Spiegel Grove featured Psalm xxiii prayers by Rev Mills and tributes detailing her kindness and benevolence. General Hayes and family received mourners as veterans and survivors formed a guard of honor before the simple interment.
