Flying Wolf Hunt Instigated From Field to Airplane Pickup
Phil Groetken of LeMars saw two coyotes crossing a field and called Kenneth DuVon at LeMars airport. DuVon landed in a pasture, retrieved Groetken, and took off. The pair spotted the coyotes and Groetken shot them from the cockpit with a 12 gauge shotgun.

Onslow Club Hosts Party and Local Games
The Onslow South Prairie Homemakers club held a Friday party with a cooperative supper and a 500 game, awarding prizes to Mrs. Henry Schnoor, Leslie Babcock, and Mrs. Frank Johnson. Onslow’s first team beat Lost Nation 15 to 14, Tasker led. Lost Nation won the second 25 to 22.
