Funeral for Douglas Wasson Held in Wyoming Cemetery
The funeral for Douglas Wasson was held last Tuesday at 1 o clock in the church with many friends and relatives in attendance. Flower arrangements received praise and a choir sang hymns. relatives from Cedar Rapids and Wyoming attended, including Miss Astelle McCune and her pupils. Burial followed in the Wyoming cemetery.

Judge Boies of Waterloo Dies After Illness
Judge H B Boies of the tenth judicial district Waterloo died last Saturday at his home after an eighteen week illness from a heart attack. Funeral conducted by Rev J R Morean at First Congregational church Waterloo. Boies a son of Governor Horace Boies and a 1891 graduate of the state university and the lay school, served on the district bench since 1924 and was respected by the bar. His wife survives.
