Graves Doom: Doctor to be hanged January 31
Denver, January 12. Dr Graves was in court with Judge Rising denying arrest of judgment and was sentenced to be hanged within the two weeks starting January 31, 1892. Graves was moved to Canon City penitentiary on the 7 o clock Rio Grande train as Deputy Sheriff Charles Smith led him away. A supersedeas will be sought from the supreme court once papers are prepared, a process expected to take two weeks.
